Timothy Castanza
Timothy Castanza is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bridge Prep Charter School, New York’s first public school designed specifically for students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. Since opening in 2019, he has led Bridge Prep’s growth as a model for inclusive, literacy-focused education rooted in the Science of Reading and strong community partnerships.
A recognized leader in literacy education, he is a Cahn Fellow for Distinguished School Leaders, an honoree of the “Exceptional New Yorker” award by NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, serves in various statewide literacy commissions, a recipient of the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation’s 20 under 40 award, and a proud board member of the Staten Island Business Outreach Center.
