Tiffany deSousa
Tiffany M. deSousa, M.A. is a child advocate, nonprofit founder, and community leader whose work is driven by personal experience. After surviving youth homelessness and overcoming mental-health challenges, she channeled her strengths into service. In June 2024, Tiffany earned her M.A. in Child Advocacy & Policy from Montclair State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
She is the founder and chair of the CLCL Foundation (“Choose Love. Celebrate Life.”), a nonprofit pilot empowering families and youth through trauma informed, culturally sensitive programs. Tiffany also serves as Co-Chair of the League of Women Voters of Ocean County, sits on the Ocean County Youth Services Commission, and contributes to multiple community coalitions focused on child welfare, mental health, and homelessness.
Tiffany’s multifaceted work seamlessly combines lived experience, academic rigor, and professional advocacy—making her a powerful voice for systems-level change.
