Roosevelt Board
Roosevelt Board is the owner and operator of Chick-fil-A at the Staten Island Mall and a dynamic force for entrepreneurship and community leadership. A South Carolina native and Coastal Carolina University graduate, Board began his career with Chick-fil-A as a general manager before serving as a Grand Opening Supervisor for locations nationwide. At just 27, he opened Staten Island’s first Chick-fil-A, quickly establishing it as a hub for service, leadership, and community engagement.
Board is a passionate advocate for youth development and entrepreneurship, actively supporting programs like the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy and Chick-fil-A Leader Academy. He partners with local schools and nonprofits and regularly donates meals, hosts events, and supports causes including homelessness, food insecurity, and cancer awareness.
A recipient of the Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award, Board continues to lead with purpose, measuring his success by the influence he has and the impact he makes in the lives of others.
