The Seamen’s Society for Children and Families celebrated its 175th anniversary with a Gala at Li Greci’s Staaten on April 7, 2022. The event was chaired by Danielle Raleigh and Caroline Ferreri, and honored individuals who have significantly contributed to the organization. The Safe Harbor Award was presented to Jon R. Del Giorno and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for their support of Seamen’s. Foster parent Jean Harrington received the Joan Arnold Award for her dedication to fostering children. Proceeds from the gala will support Seamen’s Society’s programs, which serve over 1,250 children and 500 families with services like foster care, domestic violence support, and health home care management.
