Seamen’s Society for Children and Families will hold a 5K run/walk event at Clove Lakes Park on September 19, 2021, to raise funds for the Robert and Barbara Fitzsimmons Children and Family Fund. The event aims to provide children and families with experiential opportunities like summer camps, sports, and art lessons. Participants can register individually or as part of a team, with fees set at $30 for adults and $15 for children under 17. Sponsorships are available, and all proceeds will support the Seamen’s Society, which offers a range of family services.
